Full Time Live-in Building ManagerWe are looking for a rental building manager. Candidate willpossess problem solving skills, excellent management, positive relationshipwith the tenants. Responsible for rent collections, supervision of contractors.Showing and renting apartments, coordinating move-in and move-out.Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:General maintenance and repairs of the interior and exterior of the building.Dealing with tenants and buildingissues, attending to all building related emergencies, other serviceproviders to allow access to the building, showing suites, and dealingwith any other issues that may arise.Inspection of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system.Coordination of move in and move outs of the building as per the Rules & Regulations.Maintain clean common building areas and clean suites for turnovers.Programming fobs, buzzer.General and routine inspection of common area.Prepare Incident Reports relatedto accidents, altercations and damage to the property and/or otherapplicable incidents.Prepare Rental and Manager Reports.Reporting to the Building Manageron a regular basis regarding any arising tenant issues. and buildingmaintenance requirements.Other duties as required from time to time.QUALIFICATIONS:Two to three years working experienceWorking knowledge of the Residential Tenancy ActMotivated and professional with a service-oriented mindsetExcellent communication; both verbal and written in English (Mandarin and Cantonese Assistance)Strong interpersonal skills; able to handle conflict tactfullyComputer literate; knowledge of Microsoft Office, ExcelUnderstanding of building operating systemsReliableIf you are currently exploring a new career challenge in rentalbuilding management, please apply online by submitting your resume and coverletter to alecwong@shaw.ca Pleasenote, while we would like to connect with all our applicants for this position,only those chosen for interview will be contacted.
