AWM-Alliance Real Estate Group Ltd. is looking for a Full-Time Property Accountant and an Accounts Receivable Clerk (2 positions opening) to join our dynamic accounting team.Responsibilities of Property Accountant include:- Full cycle financial statement preparation for a portfolio of 14-20 strata and commercial properties- Preparation of supporting working papers- Work collaboratively with Property Managers, Council Members and a very strong accounting team- Year end budget and audit preparation- CAM reconciliations for Commercial Properties- GST remittances- Liaison with auditors and bankersResponsibilities of Accounts Receivable Clerk include:- Preparation and administration of EFT files- Handling and organization of all cheques, post-dated cheques and cash- Updating of tenant/owner ledgers in accounting software- Timely bank deposits- Reconciliation of credit card transactions- Liaison with owners and tenants- Filing / Mailing cheques- Various administrative tasks required by Controller & Accounting SupervisorsRequirements:- 1-2 years experience with solid financial statement preparation- Accounting degree, designation or diploma- Strong verbal and written communication skills.- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and multi-task in a large volume, fast-paced environment- Has a 'do what it takes' attitude to meet tight deadlines and be a contributing member in team environment- Has proven efficiency in Excel, Word and accounting software.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build an accounting/administrative career with a dynamic growing organization.Please submit cover letter and resume.Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
