Landmark West Development Group is a long-established reputable real estate developer primarily based in the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, Canada. We are seeking for a responsible and professional Bookkeeper to become a part of our team!Responsibilities:- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded - Update accounts receivable and issue invoices- Reconcile ledgers monthly and quarterly- Processes balance sheets, income statements and other financial statement according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned- Updates financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings- Prepare CRA returns and remittance and supporting documentation- Assist in completing auditsQualifications:- Proven 1-3 years relevant work experience- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting preferred- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and various accounting software programs- Effective organizational skills with high attention to detail- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills- Ability to communicate and write in Chinese is an assetFeel free to submit your resume to info@landmarkgroups.caWe are looking forward to hear from you!
