Accounting ClerkWe have an opening for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team located in Southwest Coquitlam. Minimum 2 years of experience in full cycle accounting and knowledgeable in payroll processing is required. The best candidate should be diligent, detailoriented, organized, and accurate in all aspects. In addition, one must work well underpressure.Key Responsibilities- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payments to vendors- Bi-weekly payroll processing, remittance to CRA for payroll taxes and corporate taxes- Filing of T4s returns- Filing of GST and PST returns and prepare remittances- Filing of Worksafe BC and EHT returns- Posting of Daily Sales journals- Bank reconciliations- Prepare monthly financial statements- Assist in preparation of year-end working papers- Other accounting tasks as required.Requirements- Diploma or degree in Accountancy- Experience with Sage 50 accounting system, and EasyPay payroll system in an asset- Moderate to advanced proficiency in Excel- Ability to communicate fluently, professionally and effectively with the team.- Additional language in Cantonese / Mandarin is an asset.We provide group dental, extended health and life insurance.Please email your resume to: anniehr@sft26.com.
