With 9 restaurant locations in Canada and growing, we are looking for professional individuals to join our team!You will provide support to the administration of payroll and benefit programs to ensure efficient and accurate processing & reporting. You will also provide customer service support to employees and managers on payroll and benefit matters.ResponsibilitiesProcessing new hires, employee changes, terminations and transfers of salary and hourly employeesAdministering new hires to ADPWorkforce Now, audit of imported time & attendance from restaurant scheduling softwareProcessing full-cycle payroll for 9 locations on a semi-monthly basis for hourly and salary employees in BC and ONReconciling and remitting all payroll and company benefit liabilities to CRA, EHT, WCB, WSIBProvide General Ledger to accounting department after payroll processingAdminister benefits enrolment, terminations, annual renewalsComplete wage report for WorkSafeBC and WSIBKey liaison to hourly and salary employees in regards to payroll and benefits questionsManage employee request forms for vacation to implement to payrollOther duties as requiredRequirementsMinimum 1-2 years’ payroll and benefits experienceExcellent attention to detail and deadline consciousCompletion of the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is considered an asset.Experience with ADP Payroll is considered an assetKnowledge of Employment Standards ActCollaborative team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to act with the required discretion when handling confidential information.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and automated payroll processing
