This position requires knowledge and experience in Pro/Engineering and Solidworks, fieldwork and processing facility at farms in Vanderhoof, BC and business trips to Pocatello, US.Key Responsibilities:Utilize Pro Engineer and Solidworks software for 3D modelling, simulations, and creating detailed technical drawings.Conduct research and analysis to improve existing equipment and ensure efficiency and reliability.Perform regular inspections and maintenance of heavy-duty equipment to ensure safety and functionality.Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, implementing timely repairs and modifications.Recommend and oversee equipment upgrades or replacements as necessary.Develop and maintain documentation, including equipment manuals and maintenance records.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and logistics, to optimize equipment performance.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all equipment-related activities.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions.Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop heavy-duty equipment, machinery, and systems.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology, Mechanical manufacturing or a related field.With a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and to develop problem-solving skills, with knowledge and hands-on experiences in engineering design, computer applications, computer-aided design, manufacturing process, and materials science.Proven experience in maintaining and developing heavy-duty equipment.Proficiency in Pro Engineer and Solidworkssoftware for 3D modelling and drafting.5+ years of related working experienceExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality.Willingness to undergo training and fieldwork in Vanderhoof, BC and business trips to Pocatello, US.Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with agriculture industry equipment is a plus.Bilingual in mandarin would be an assert.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for career growth and development.A supportive and innovative work environment.Exposure to a global market and industry-leading projects.Training and development opportunities.One of the most rewarding aspects of your career in Exceed is the chance to see the tangible results of your product development.
