Test TechnicianJob DescriptionReportto the R&D manager, the Test Technician works closely with the hardware andsoftware engineer teams, and quality control and production teams toinvestigate issues, explore new technologies, and learn from each other. Theideal candidate will be enthusiastic, collaborative, and have the ability tomake judgments based on practice and previous experience. The main duty is toverify the design of new products are safe and effective and meet the designrequirements. The verifications cover the tests on component level, unit leveland system level.Responsibilities and DutiesDocument and test new components and devices.Functional test and comprehension test on newly designed or existing products.Design the test cases and test the functionalities of the proto-type products.Troubleshoot the failure electronic circuits at the components level.Report issues in defect tracking system.Write test plans and test reports.Assist in processing return material authorizations and service repair requests.Provide assistant requested by project leaders.Work with the Production and Product Development teams to recommend improvements to our products.Qualifications and Skills2-year college diploma or university degree in electronics, computer engineering or equivalent.Excellent problem solving and debug skills, independently drive an investigation to a root cause.Ability to understand electronic schematics; Familiar withelectronic debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and digital meters;Excellent electronic soldering skills.Solid interpersonal skills to function appropriately in a multi-disciplinary team environment.Fast learning, detail oriented, procedural in workflow, aptitude for accuracyAbility to prioritize issues, manage multiple tasks, and estimate/meet target completion date.Languages: EnglishJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
