If you are an aspiring Photographer who wants experience in a business as well as e-commerce setting or wants to build your own portfolio, we have the opportunity for you to diversify and grow your skills. We are looking for a part-time photographer to help refine our social media content, accompany us on events, and participate in the digital marketing planning and strategy meetings.The photographer will need to work collaboratively across the marketing department to ensure needs are captured. Assignments cover a localized region and generally involve travel within a 45 minute radius of a photographer's location. You will be responsible for all aspects of photo shoots, including product and on-location/lifestyle. You will need to have your own photography equipment to start, but as you progress, we can purchase new equipments and parts to help enhance your work with us.This role includes a mixture of in-office work, and on-site work. -At least 4 hours bi-weekly in-office -The majority of the work will be completed on-site at events -On-site jobs are a must and access to your own vehicle is preferred. You will be compensated by the following structure: -Billable hours for in-office work & on-site events (starting from $1200 monthly and possibility to progress as we see your work) -Commute Benefits Must-Have Skills: -A reliable vehicle with a valid BC driver's licence -Professional photography, highly preferred (students are welcome) -Must be able to edit and retouch your own photos and videos (work-from-home) -A comprehensive understanding of lighting -Flexible availability is required -Punctuality is extremely important -Able to maintain and care for equipment -Collaborate with all departments leveraging photography and digital assets to deliver consistent, high quality and on brand product photography -Apply photography techniques to capture images to be included in various digital media platforms, including but not limited to the company website, social media uploads, seasonal campaigns and e-newslettersPlease contact us through email: hello@vancouverballoons.com with your resume and portfolio/past-work.
