We are a small size CPA firm located at Markham, and we are providing a Receptionist/Junior 4 month Co-op opportunity starting January 2022, we are searching for individuals who are willing to have professional development in public accounting in the next few years.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for basic and routine office administrative functions, including taking calls, fax,  data entry, scheduling, call CRA, etc
- Involvement with work related to bookkeeping engagements and personal and corporate tax returns
Building effective working relationships with client contacts and responding effectively to  client requests
- Coordination of tax assignments including preparation of tax returns (T1, T2s, T4s, T5s,  GST/HST), and coordination with the tax department to ensure queries are cleared and deadlines  are met
- Following-up with appropriate government agencies on questions relating to payroll,  assessments, GST, HST

Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge Requirments
- Post secondary diploma or certificate in Accounting or Business
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particular Word, and Excel
- Language: English and Mandarin are a must, Cantonese is an asset
- Previous practical experience on accounting software, such as QuickBook, Caseware, Profile is  an asset
