资历要求:
- 具有化学、分析化学、食品或其他相关学科的学位。
- 在食品或农业实验室有至少5年的分析经验。有乳品测试经验者优先。
- 至少有3年领导实验室团队的工作经验。
- 对ISO17025和加拿大的相关法规有深入理解。
- 有撰写、审查和维护实验室质量体系文件和标准操作程序的经验。
- 熟悉多种类型的食品和农产品的检测方法,如乳制品、肉类、谷物、油菜籽等。检测领域包括食品理化、农药残留、药物残留、添加剂、微生物、转基因等。
- 熟悉大型分析仪器的使用,如LC/MSMS、GC/MS、HPLC、GC、ICP/MS、AAS等。
- 有评估分析测试结果、方法验证以及设备鉴定和校准的经验。
- 有调查并处理投诉和偏差的经验,在必要时采取纠正和预防措施。

Laboratory Manager Work location: Kingston, ON. Canada Type: Full-time Salary: $68-80K / year
Job Description:
- The primary responsibility is to ensure clients’ expectations are met by a high-quality sample analysis delivered in a timeline that exceeds customer commitments. This position will provide solutions to the technical needs of our clients with the consideration of sales, profitability, quality, and turnaround time.
- Supervising all work related to each section, coordinating the interaction between the different laboratories departments.
- Training and supervising all staff.
- Checking and revising all the test reports issued by the laboratory.
- Oversee daily lab operations including employee leadership, process control, quality improvement, innovation through information technology.
- Ensure all regulatory procedures pertaining to sample testing are followed correctly.
- Continuously strive to improve the quality of work we provide to our clients through method development, verification, and modification of new and or existing methods.
- Understand and follow Quality System documents relevant to responsibilities, including quality manual, SOPs, methods, and local policies.
- Adhere to appropriate quality measures, which meet or exceed the standards set by government regulation and company requirements.
- Follow all company guidelines and procedures relevant to assigned duties.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
- Degree level qualification in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food, or another relevant subject.
- Minimum 5 years of analytical experience in a food or agricultural laboratory. Experience in dairy testing is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years bench level in leading a laboratory team.
- Strong Understanding of ISO17025 and relevant regulations of Canada.
- Experience writing, reviewing, and maintaining laboratory quality system documents and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Familiar with the detection methods of many types of food and agricultural products, such as dairy, meat, grains, rapeseed, etc. The fields of testing include food physicochemical, pesticide residues, drug residues, additives, microorganisms, transgenic, etc.
- Familiar with the use of large analytical equipment, such as LC/MSMS, GC/MSMS, HPLC, GC, ICP/MS, AAS, etc.
- Experience in assessing analytical testing results, method validation and equipment qualification and calibration.
- Experience investigating complaints and deviations and taking corrective and preventative actions as necessary.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate in a team-based environment.
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously and remain calm under pressure.
- High level of professionalism. Strong leadership, initiative, and teambuilding skills.
