JBK Logistics is hiring an Accountant ( Provide logistics service to Amazon)
Office location: close to York University, 100 Toryork Dr. North York, Ontario
Work hours :Mon - Fri 9.00AM - 5:30PM

Main responsibilities:
- Assist to perform full cycle bookkeeping and prepare month-end closing, prepare the journal entries
based on the accounting and internal ERP systems.
- Complete bank reconciliations each month (CAD and USD accounts) to resolve the issues on time.
- Support to manage CAD and USD bank accounts, apply the correct exchange rates for the funds
transfers.
- Assist to fulfill A/P responsibilities, validate supporting documentation to complete the payments
every week. Identify and resolve discrepancies and issues.
- Provide financial analysis when request.
- Contact customers to collect receivable funds when necessary, update the notes in the system
report in a timely manner.
- Support to prepare GST/HST report on time.
- Perform other responsibilities and prepare ad-hoc reports.

Qualification and requirements:
- University degree in Canada, major in Accounting.
- 1 year of full-cycle accounting experience, familiar with QuickBooks, A/P, A/R processes.
- Be familiar with accounting bookkeeping principles ASPE.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Pro, excellent excel, word, PPT skills.
- Be able to work in a fast space environment, strong motivation to learn fast.
- Good team player, be capable to work in a professional way.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Working towards the CPA would be an asset.
