We are hiring a Project Estimator for our client Sign board company. The Project Estimator is reporting to the Bidding Department Supervisor, and will be responsible for providing detailed cost estimates for projects offered for tenderer. This will include interpretation of job scope and comprehensive costing of resources, equipment and materials to achieve an acceptable margin while providing the best opportunity to secure business.
MAJOR DUTIES:
–Provide cost estimates for projects, including interpreting job scope and comprehensive costing of resources, equipment and materials to achieve an acceptable margin while providing the best opportunity to secure business. –Prepare efficient structure drawing –Consult and provide technical support to internal departments of various project –Attend site meetings and perform field observations & measurements –Review documents and drawings from external sources –Participate and support in the project management process for large and complex projects –Perform Ad Hoc duties as per the Production Department Supervisor direction
QUALIFICATION:
–Post-secondary certificate or diploma (Civil Engineering or Construction preferred) –At least 1 year working experience in Toronto GTA construction industry estimation/ drafting is preferred –Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications –Proficiency in AUTO CAD for preparing structure drawing –Space conceptualization abilities is essential –Energetic team player who works well under pressure and be able to meet tight deadline –Excellent time management and organization skill –Positive, friendly and willing to interact with others –Valid G Driver’s licence with clean driving background –Good command of English and able to communicate effectively in both oral and writing English
Working hour::9:00 am~ 6:00 pm ,Monday to Friday. Salary: 40,000~50,000/year , will depend on experience and qualification. Location: work location is in central of Scarborough
