Transportation Coordinator/ Analyst (Markham, ON) The person in this position will be responsible for coordinating transportation logistics for the Ontario region and performing cost benefit and routing analysis. Principal tasks: Transportation

• Audit and correct issues related to transportation billing;
• Manage transportation rates, terms and conditions;
• Act as transportation consultant for other departments;
• Issue transportation quotations based on demand;
• Manage transportation-related issues and provide support to representatives and distribution (delivery delays, damage, loss, customer dissatisfaction);
• Manage transportation claims and litigations;
• Update transportation statistics (shipping systems user support);
• Participate in projects for continued improvement of company operations;
• Perform analysis of shipment activity to determine cost effective transportation
methods and routes;

Warehouse

• Update distribution center statistics;
• Participate in projects to improve use of management software (ERP, WMS, TMS, optimizer, etc.). Requirements: • College diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain management
• CITT, P. Log or other logistics designation an asset
• Experienced in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Proficient in English; fluency in French an asset
