We have achieved tremendous growth over the last two years and are seeking a Warehouse Associate to help in the increasing demand for our products. What were hiring for? Location: Richmond Hill (16th Ave. & Leslie) Rate: $14-$15/Hr (Paid lunch break-30 Mins, Pizza Time or BBQ time, Paid Sick leaves, Group Benefit) Type: Permanent Full Time Shift: (Monday – Tuesday) 9:30AM – 6:30PM (Wednesday – Friday) 9:30am – 5:30pm Work setting: Warehouse – Fast Paced Responsibilities: Your role will require you to pick, pack, and ship outbound orders routinely. Orders must be picked and packed accurately. Adjustments and frequent interruptions will occur to satisfy rush orders. Candidate must be comfortable working under pressure and extremely tight shipping deadlines. Co-ordination with warehouse manager is necessary to ensure logistical efficiency. Receiving of inventory and verification of count will be required, in addition to restocking warehouse inventory. Shipper/Receivers perform routine and repetitive tasks.
Pick and ship packages with extreme accuracy
Prepare shipping labels, documents, and verification of weights for outbound packages.
Examine inbound shipment content and compare with records, manifests, invoices, purchase orders, to verify accuracy of shipment.
Co-ordinate inbound and outbound shipment logistics and rectify problems such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications
Assist and support warehouse manager on any urgent issues relating to warehouse matters
Maintain shipping, receiving and general warehouse area
Requirements:
Experience: 1- 2 Years of shipping & receiving
English – both written and oral
Must be physically fit and able to move packages up to 25-40lbs on an unassisted basis, repetitively
Must be highly proficient with computers and shipping system
Must be able to work under extremely tight shipping deadlines
Must be proficient with MS Windows, and computer literate
High degree of problem solving, planning, and organizing skills required.
Must be punctual
