We are seeking an experienced full time web developer to work in Markham Ontario.
Start Date: July 1st, 2015
End Date: December 31, 2015
Rate: up to $28.00/hour (Depending on Experience)
Location: Markham, ON
Summary:
Experience using object-oriented development (preferably in PHP5), Zend, browser-independent HTML, XML/XSD/XSLT, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, Web Services, SOA, Oracle/ MS SQL RDBMS, and UNIX is required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum undergraduate Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineering or related field or recognized equivalent.
- Minimum three years relevant experience in object-oriented design and programming (preferably in PHP5).
- Proven development experience in Zend or other MVC framework.
- Development experience using JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, HTML, XML, SVN.
- Design experience with MySQL development experience.
- Experience in client and server operating system architecture experience.
- Experience in application maintenance.
- Relevant experience with project and software development life cycle, project management tools and methodology.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, required.
- Good presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as within a team.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and assess priority, required.
- Deadline, detail-, and quality-oriented.
- Excellent mentoring and coaching skills.
- Adept at continuous learning.
