Pacific Link College is a modern post-secondary institution in Surrey, British Columbia that supports local and international students. We are now looking for a talented Designer to join our Design and IT Team. We welcome all qualified individuals to submit their application for this position

What you’ll do

1. Collaborate with Marketing, Admissions and Operations department to deliver quality Graphic Designs including but not limited to Poster, Banner, and Web Design
2. Work with IT team on new product design including but not limited to Website and Mobile Applications
3. Collaborate with contractors and carry out implementations
4. Follow design layout and rules and apply them on all designs
5. Work within a cross functional team to develop and deliver ideas from concepts to final designs
6. Work independently as well as in a team while taking direction from others
7. Keep on top of design trends and constantly updating outdated designs
8. Effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
9. Learn new design tools and technologies

Things you must have

1. Skills in Adobe Creative Suite is a must (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
2. Skills in HTML and CSS is a must
3. Attention to details is a must
4. Solid understanding in graphic design concepts and implementation
5. Solid understanding in UI and UX design
6. You must not afraid to learn new things all the time
7. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in related field
8. Good oral and written commutation skills, ability to work well with other, organization and planning skills
9. Fluent in English

Things we are happy to see

1. Experience in After Effects, Adobe Premiere, and Audition is a plus
2. Experience in modern CMS (WordPress, Moodle, Drupal) is a plus
3. Experience in Version Control such as Git is a plus
4. No experience required, but experience is a plus
