Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in full cycle accounting Post-secondary education in accounting Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word Excellent working knowledge of QuickBooks Strong accounting and analytical skills Effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline drive environment Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, ability to multi-task and ability to exercise independent judgment. Good interpersonal skills Flexibility to assist with various tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Mandarin
Responsibilities: Manage all accounting operations including A/P, A/R Prepare semi-monthly payroll and government remittances Prepare bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts Prepare G/L reconciliations of various accounts Perform daily routines and month-end procedures Provide timely financial reports required by the owner Complete GST and WCB returns within due dates; Assist external accountant in the year-end financial reporting Evaluate and advise on expense trend with variance explanations Identify and initiate process improvements Assist with various projects as required
