Responsibilities: Develops and implements financial plans for individuals, businesses, and organizations, utilizing knowledge of tax and investment strategies, securities, insurance, pension plans, and real estate: Interviews client to determine client's assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance coverage, tax status, and financial objectives. Analyzes client's financial status develops a financial plan based on analysis of data and discusses financial options with the client. Prepares and submits documents to implement plans selected by the client. Maintains contact with the client to revise the plan based on the modified needs of clients or changes in the investment market. Refer the client to other establishments to obtain services outlined in the financial plan. Registered with the professional self-regulatory association and be designated Certified Financial Planner.
Requirement: Must have at least five years’ experience of holding Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) Better to have a Canadian Securities Course (CSC). Must be registered to sell Mutual Funds (MFDA/AMF). Financial Planning Accreditations/Designations are preferred, however, we may be willing to train high potential candidates with a demonstrated track record of sales and customer service excellence
Preferred: Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Or one of the following: Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation Wealth Management Essentials (WME) + Financial Planning Supplement Professional Financial Planning Course (PFPC) Financial Planning I & II (FP I & II).
