COMPANY BACKGROUND: Founded in 2003 with its first office in Montreal. The grouplater expanded service to cover all Canada province. Meridian Cargo operates asa comprehensive global platform for traditional transportation and freightforwarding services, end-to-end integrated logistics programs, and completethird-party logistics management solutions. The founding team has beendelivering first-class customer service and managing complex shipments in allkey trading areas with tailored solutions to the mid-sized customers businessneeds.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Track and trace Sea and trucking shipments and with timely follow up withoverseas partners and all related parties
Multi-task and coordinateall aspects of shipment process, including booking, manifest, Bills of Lading,deliveries and billing.
Proper follow-up on shipments and communicate with all parties by phone / email
Provide assistance when needed to improve products and services

Qualifications
      
  • Analytical Skills, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain Management skills
  • Effective Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with shipping, logistics software, microsoft office and outlook
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs processes
  • Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • Certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus
  • bilingual English and French and other languages essential

Assets:
CIFFA training certificate.
Extended language skills (Chinese / verbal and written).
