Our client isa long-standing business operating in the office cleaning industry and is looking foran experienced controller to join their finance team. The Controller would be helping to improve and enhance the financialprocesses and systems.
Keyresponsibilities: · Managing the execution and delivery of all internal and externalreporting as well as reporting financial results regularly to the president; · Preparation of budgets; · Preparation of all federal and provincial government reports andremittances (DAS, GST, QST, CSST etc.);
- Providing leadership and direction in all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, audits and internal controls;
- Identifying and spear-heading process improvements, leading to greater efficiency and more seamless operations;
- Ensure Accounting policies and procedures are established and followed by the company;
- Responsible for supervising, recruiting, training and evaluating employees;
- Performing financial analysis with regards to costing as well as pricing of services;
- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors;

Requirements: · At least 3 years of experienceas a Controller; · Extensive payroll knowledge andexperience with the parity committee and/or labour laws (preferable); · Solid verbal and written communicationskills (English and French); · Must be proficient with Simply accounting, Sage50, Excel and Word.
